I am pretty sure I am CC'd on that ticket, if not, I will try to keep an eye out.  As soon as you have the mysql variant in place...

Once the mysql variant is in place, I will see what I can do about bumping this to 1.2.10.  I have never really been sure about diffs that extend beyond diffs that have not been applied, I have a feeling it just makes things messy.  For that reason, I will hold off to get the clean new port, and then work on a copy here to get it to 1.2.10 unless jberry in anxious to do so himself.
