Ok, that was my assumption. Thanks. I guess I would prefer if we had
a more explanatory "instruction" during the install process. The
current message is:

# A startup item has been generated that will aid in
# starting openssh with launchd. It is disabled
# by default. Execute the following command to start it,
# and to cause it to launch at startup:

# sudo port load openssh
###########################################################
which might lead some new users into just running the command without
understanding what they were doing.
