gnome on snow leopard

Hi everyone,

Did someone successfully install gnome on snow leopard? I'v tried to install
it on my mac pro for two weeks but failed mostly due to the arch x86_64
(looks like the gnome-sharp2 build failure for the arch x86_64 because of
its dependence mono only available i386). Also I tried the option build_arch
using i386, not works (just failed in other ports building, I cannot
remember those names). Any suggestions for this?
