MacPorts update of ports after upgrade to 1.9.1 >> GCC43 builds forever

Just upgraded MacPorts to 1.9.1. The as suggested to me I decided to update
all outdated ports:

$ sudo port upgrade outdated

Somehow it gets stuck at GCC43. It has been building for about 30-40 minutes
now. Is this normal? Should I abort and retry?
