VLC Interface Error

Just installed the latest VLC. Wanted to play a DVD Region 3 DVD on my MBP
with MacPorts VLC. Standard VLC Mac image would not play it.
Got these errors starting VLC:
jaspersmbp:~ jasper$ vlc
[0x100312fe0] main interface error: no interface module matched
"globalhotkeys,none"
[0x100312fe0] main interface error: no suitable interface module
[0x1003123e0] main libvlc error: interface "globalhotkeys,none"
initialization failed
[0x1003123e0] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use
'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.

Did dvlc:

jaspersmbp:~ jasper$ cvlc
[0x1004a8c80] main interface error: no interface module matched
"globalhotkeys,none"

[0x100312440] main libvlc error: interface "globalhotkeys,none"
initialization failed
[0x1004a8c80] dummy interface: using the dummy interface module...


In VMWare Fusion 3.1 with Ubuntu 10.04 with VLC and after command: sudo
apt-get install libdvdread4 && sudo
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh adding libdvdread4 I was able to
watch it, but I would love to get it to run on my MacBookPro directly with
MacPort's VLC... Any ideas?
