install gimp failed at fetching gcc/g++

I also had trouble with fetches from gcc.gnu.org just stalling forever. I had to cancel (Control-C) and retry two or three times before it got all the files completely.

Rainer recently made some changes in MacPorts trunk that will cause MacPorts to time out and retry from a different server if a server stalls (or is too slow) but that code is not yet in a released version of MacPorts.
