file not recognizing MP3 files?

Just out of curiosity, where do those variants come from?

Mine just says

[11:42] nightowl:~ % sudo port list file
file                           @5.05           sysutils/file

No "_0+universal" anywhere.

I can't activate the old one anyway, because I only have the current version:

[11:43] nightowl:~ % ls /opt/local/var/macports/software/file
/opt/local/var/macports/software/file:
5.05_0/ 

I'll look at Ryan's tip for installing older revs.
