outdated ports file location?

Hi All,

I just ran a

port selfupdate
port upgrade outdated

and there was a problem building VLC @ 1.0.7 that is due to libmatroska
dependency that is incorrect. I just want to stick with my current version
of VLC but continue upgrading the rest of my ports. Is there a way to remove
VLC from my outdated list  so I can run 'upgrade outdated' and have it skip
VLC?
