iOS cross compiling support

howdy!

I note that there is a config.guess at:

var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/base/config.guess

Is that file part of the macports software stack that I can call from portconfigure.tcl?  If so, what is the proper way to invoke that script to get the triplet for the host system?
