Kile hangs on startup

Hi all,

I have problems with Kile hanging on startup, know the cause, but can't solve the problem because I can't find the .rc file at its usual place (neither ~/.kde/share/config nor ~/.kde4/share/config). Where do MacPorts-installed KDE4 applications store their configurations?

Configuration: Mac OS 10.6.6, MacPorts 1.9.2, KDE 4.5.3, kile-devel 2.1b4

The problem in detail: I've opened a project within Kile, closed Kile and then deleted the project from my disk. When Kile now starts, the initial "scanning project files" hangs at ~50% and doesn't continue. This problem is known [1], but the suggested workaround to delete ~/.kde/share/config/kilerc doesn't solve the problem for me. And under ~/.kde4, there no file share/config/kilerc .
