Unable to install clang - ld64 fails

The relevant error in the log seems to be:

/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_ld64/work/ld64-123.2/src/ld/parsers/archive_file.cpp:145:34: error: use of undeclared identifier 'AR_EFMT1' [2]

It installs fine for me but I have Xcode 3.2.6 not Xcode 4.

You should file a bug report in our issue tracker.
