port not running

Hi!

I've just installed macports on a mac with OSX 10.6.7. After installing
gcc_select, I can't run it:

Yggdrasill3:~ marcelo$ port installed
The following ports are currently installed:
  gcc_select @0.1_5 (active)
Yggdrasill3:~ marcelo$ gcc_select -l
-bash: gcc_select: command not found

What could be the problem? Thanks in advance for the help,
