cryptsetup is a frontend for dm-crypt which is specific to the Linux
kernel. As far as I know, nobody has ported this to Mac OS X/Darwin yet.

Mac OS X currently only offers FileVault as a way to encrypt your home
directory using a disk image. Apple announced full disk encryption
support for the next version of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
