Mac OS X 10.6.7
digikam @1.8.0 (kde, kde4)
sudo port install kde*4
Activating kdegames4 @4.5.5_0
...
Activating kdemultimedia4 @4.6.3_0
I can't find any clue as to why this is.
I have uninstalled kde3.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled digikam and kde4.
dbus seems alive:-
ps auxwww | grep dbus
messagebus 59 0.0 0.0 2435448 704 ?? Ss 3:44PM 0:00.01
/opt/local/bin/dbus-daemon --system --nofork
adamsaltiel 55820 0.0 0.0 2426924 328 s002 R+ 2:11PM 0:00.00
grep dbus
Result:- Application fails to respond.
I always have the same result.
To get some output I can try like this:-
/Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS/digikam
Result:-
KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid
main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to
call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You
should not do that since it most likely will not work
I am sure the problem is something like a wrong path to python version (I
have 2.5 and 2.6 with the py26 0_6_16_0 port active).
If I try sudo port install kde-l10n-en_GB
I get this error:- './configure: No such file or directory' [1]
However no such error with e.g. sudo port install kde-l10n-el
Is this relevant?
Any help appreciated.
Best,
Adam
