error installing PDL 2.4.6

I had the following in my terminal

--->  Building p5.14-pdl
Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see log for details)
Log for p5.14-pdl is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_perl_p5-pdl/p5.14-pdl/main.log
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.


Whatever "Status 1" is... I have no idea.

On a related topic, PDL is now at version 2.4.9 (soon to be version 2.4.10), but I am not sure whether the PDL-macports maintainer is still tracking the current PDL developments.
