Unable to configure any packages when MacPort is active

People,

So I found the culprit and it is:

coreutils @8.14 (sysutils)
    GNU File, Shell, and Text utilities

When I activate MacPorts and uninstall coreutils, everything seems to be
working well

How do we proceed now?
