This is a recent API change in glib (introduced in glib 2.3).  If you
cannot get an updated version of the program you are trying to build, you
may need to reinstall an older version of glib; see <
http://trac.macports.org/wiki/howto/InstallingOlderPort >.

(Google for "only glib.h can be included directly" to see all the packages
and systems affected by this.  You could also trawl our bug tracker, as a
bunch of ports had to be updated after glib was updated to 2.3.)
