Gimp crash

Hi!

I've just installed the Gimp. The application works –to a point. When I try
to use the  [Color ---> Curves] menu I get an error as soon I as click on
the corresponding window.

Below is the output from the OS X terminal window. I'm running Mac OS X
10.6.8 om Macmini3,1.
