> The port has no MacPorts maintainer, and I assume it has been abandoned upstream as well, since there has not been a new release in 8 years. You may have to consider the software dead and move on to something else. But if you can find out how to make it work of course let us know so that we can fix the port.

I'd recommend imapsync.
