xmms from ports uses Disk Writer Plugin for audio output?

That makes sense, except for this (see previous post with full error
messages):

   Your soundcard is configured properly
   You have the correct output plugin selected

Note that I did not configure the output plugin at all (nor would
xmms let me when I tried to fix this).

Just for grins, I just did a port uninstall xmms followed by re-doing the
port install xmms.  No change at all...same errors.
