What provides xcodebuild?

Nevermind. Following the appropriate xcode-select command, things
are back to working again. Thanks for putting up with my daily
stupidity...

I will say though: having the installer hang due to an incorrect
installation of Xcode, particularly not running xcode-select
after upgrading Xcode but before installing MacPorts, is going to
confuse a lot of new (and some old) users. IMHO the installer
should check for this condition and throw the appropriate error.

Thanks, that gets me xcodebuild back. But it still hangs! Any
insight would be greatly appreciated.

I appear to be digging myself a hole here. Having reinstalled

  what package provides xcodebuild?

    haral:6722 Z$ pkgutil --file-info =xcodebuild | grep pkgid
    pkgid: com.apple.pkg.DeveloperToolsSystemSupportLeo
    pkgid: com.apple.pkg.update.os.10.7.3.11D50b.combo

The former is part of Xcode, the latter would be best obtained by
downloading the latest combo updater from Apple. (Is it me or
did Apple confuse things rather badly by doing that?)

dtruss might be helpful to try to figure out why xcodebuild is
hanging, btw.
