git-core fails to upgrade

OK - I'm also getting this exact same error on a clean install on
another computer:

sh-3.2# port install git-core

--->  Configuring git-core

git-core @1.7.10.2 (devel)

If others have no problem, then what might be the problem on my
computers ???
