install octave fails on qrupdate

Trying to install octave. I've managed to get past a couple failures so far.
Failed on atlas, got past that by cleaning, selfupdating and then installed
and it went ok. (Found those suggestions on nabble and macports). BTW I
first completely removed macports then installed from scratch. (

Now failing on qrupdate. I'm on OSX 10.6.8, MacPorts 2.1.1. It's failing to
link,

I see ticket 25662 on a similar link problem with qrupdate but not exactly
the same thing.

Any clues how to get past this would be appreciated? Thanks.
