Python 2.7 installation errors

I was upgrading all ports and got stuck at Python 2.7:

--->  Staging python27 into destroot
Error: org.macports.destroot for port python27 returned: command execution
failed
Please see the log file for port python27 for details:

/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_python27/python27/main.log
--->  Computing dependencies for gobject-introspection
--->  Dependencies to be installed: python27
--->  Staging python27 into destroot
Error: org.macports.destroot for port python27 returned: command execution

Error: Failed to install python27

So I did a did a tail of the main log:

Should I just activate python 2.7? Do not recall it not being active in the
first place....
