Not sure of the issue exactly, but qt4-mac 4.8 does not compile on PPC nicely. See ticket #36497 < https://trac.macports.org/ticket/36497 > for more on that. Maybe your issue is the same as this ticket's? As another has already said, we cannot do more without a log file. - MLD
