Damaged database?

You may want to collect your active requested ports without version: (I think this should remove the version but keep variants)
$ port -q installed active and requested | sed -e 's,^ *,,' -e 's, (active),,' -e 's,\@[^_]*_[^-+]*,,' > port-active-requested-20130225.txt

Then you can install like so:
$ while read port;do echo $port; sudo port install $port;done < port-active-requested-20130225.txt
