dvdrip confusion

The documentation assumes a Linux system which allow you to have exactly
one perl package, and therefore packages based on that one perl package,
installed. MacPorts lets you have several and installs binaries in a
separate directory per Perl which you can add to $PATH.

I suppose you could call this a bug, if not slavishly imitating Linux
packaging stupidity is a bug. But if you want Linux's limitations that
badly, why not just run Linux?
