This is one of the errors you see when a program written for older Tcl (< 8.6 I think) is used with newer Tcl (≥ 8.6 I think). Tcl_Interp became an opaque structure that isn't supposed to be accessed directly anymore. As a stopgap, "-DUSE_INTERP_RESULT" can be added to CPPFLAGS, but the software ultimately needs to be rewritten by its developers to no longer access fields of Tcl_Interp directly.
