MacPorts Self-Update Failure?

I’m not sure why the MacPorts install scripts failed to complete. I had to power cycle my system to clear the problem as the installer would reject restart and shutdown requests.

Anyway, after power cycling the system and downloading and installing yesterday’s Xcode and Command Line Tools updates, I was able to install the MacPorts package without problems.
