hi..

I'm on Mavericks trying to get mapserv running from the cgi-bin directory
under the Apache root. The server is up and responding to http://127.0.0.1but
http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/mapserv is popping up a Safari dialog "This
webpage is not available". The /opt/local/apache2/logs directory is empty
save for a .turd_apache2 file.. which i understand is actually a good thing
:).

The permissions on the cgi-bin directory pointed to by the ScriptAlias in
http.conf are:

drwxr-xr-x 5 root admin 170 9 Feb 20:22 .

drwxr-xr-x 13 root admin 442 9 Feb 20:21 ..

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 6397 9 Feb 20:22 mapserv

-rw-r--r-- 1 macports admin 294 22 Nov 10:34 printenv

-rw-r--r-- 1 macports admin 779 10 Dec 2004 test-cgi

The User/Group specified in httpd.conf are _www:_www.

any help would be appreciated!

thanks
