postfix install failed

I tried to install postfix 2.11.2 on an iMac running OS X 10.9.5 and XCode 6.0.1 but it failed saying the checksum couldn't be found. I've installed and upgraded postfix many times on this and other machines but have never run into this. Am I doing something wrong?
