libgcc update ... to 4.9?

Doh, duh, bummer, etc.

I had the universal libgcc variant installed. Apparently I must have tried at some point if a universal compiler was required or better for producing 32bit code, and I forgot to "downgrade" the libgcc port. Mea culpa!
