Macports failed to update

Hi,

I am unable to update Macports through port selfupdate.

sudo port selfupdate

Consequently, my attempts at installing tesseract and ghostscript through
macports failed due to xorg-libX11's dependencies not having been
installed.

How should I resolve this issue? Thanks!
