troubles building qt5-creator-mac in alternate macports installation

Hi, 
I've installed an additional copy of macports at /opt/macports following the instructions in the guide and am attempting to install qt5 and qt5-creator-mac in this alternate macports installation. 
Everything installs okay except the final port, qt5-creator-mac, which fails with the following:

Does this have something to do with building in an alternate macport environment or am I doing something wrong?
