KDE Printing Question ... and KDE3

I am a big fan of KDE3 for X11 that I use on my old computer (OS X Lion)! I have not tried to install it on my new computer (El Capitan) since there is little hope that it will work (as far I understand).  I would be very happy if there was a port of Trinity Desktop ...
