Oh — I see that there’s a lot of build info in

docs/ README-macosx.md

in there it says you need minimum Xcode 4.6 and the 10.7 SDK (maybe that’s why macports-clang-3.7 worked for me?)

and a lot more info that I didn’t read fully through.
