Strictly it's not Quartz either, it's Core Graphics 2D. (But that's just a
rebrand.)
And afaik it's still Cocoa, although again rebranded or at least buried
inside Foundation. (Carbon was the one that went away; it was a
transitional API for pre-OS X.)
