db, there is a tool that does what you want for gentoo ; perhaps you might be interested in modifying it to work on MacPorts log files...

The time taken to build port "X" may have been long because other VMs running on the same host were busy at the time, while the time taken to build port "Y" may have been short because other VMs were not busy. Also, although I don't plan to do this often, I did move the Sierra VM from the fastest host to a slower host to make room for High Sierra on the fastest host, so Sierra build times from before that move are not directly comparable to build times from after the move.
