How to uninstall Gimp? Or how to install it correctly?

Thanks. Deinstallation of Gimp and macports worked via the link below. The only thing that there is a relict in a folder named macports
with a document showing a question mark and named „Idle“.

Would be fine if I could get rid of that also.
