issues with program - need to uninstall

Sounds like you simply did not let the installer run properly to 
completion. One of the last steps can take a short while and perhaps you 
got impatient and killed it too soon.

Is it still running ? Have you checked with Activity Monitor ? Have you 
tried restarting your machine ?
