Because the programs don't open

Hello

I installed using MacPorts of programs in OS X
The programs are Inkscape and vms-empire @ 1.7_3 and I can't open them. In the Launchpad is the Inkscape icon and clicking on it opens the program icon in the dock but closes immediately.

I have updated MacPort and ports.

Why doesn't Inkscape open by clicking on its icon?
In the launchpad the divms-empire @ 1.7_3 icon is not present and therefore I tried to open it using the terminal but it does not open.

I have read the MacPorts guide but I have not found a solution

I still know little about the use of the terminal, I am interested in deepening its use.
