Nicolas,

Thank you for your time and effort. KMM4 -devel built successfully.

For what it’s worth...

As mentioned, I have also been using the kmymoney5 version built with Jenkins
( https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/MacOS/job/KMyMoney_Nightly_macos/ ). KMM4 and KMM5 appear to have file compatibility- I have gone back and forth many times without a glitch. However, I am not using the electronic banking features.

Also, the last “successful” Jenkins build is over 2 months old. I don’t know why recent builds are failing.

Again, thank you.

Stan

As the ticket says, maybe the developers have already done it; if so, we just need to update to the fixed version. If we cannot update to the fixed version, we could backport their patch. If the developers have not fixed it, someone should report it to them so they can fix it, or someone could fix it and provide the fix to them.

At this point, the developer website describes an old version being available in MacPorts and provides a link to the MacPort kmymoney4 and kmymoney4-devel ports.

I do not use the online banking features, however. I have had no problems going back and forth between my currently installed (but outdated, can’t update) kmymoney4-devel and the Jenkins-built kmymoney5.
