Hi,

I recently had to set up a lot of software on the Macs
of some new colleagues on the other side of the planet.
Most (maybe all) of the software was available via
macports.

The worst part of it was the very laggy remote
graphical login sessions, but the installation of
software via macports went so smoothly. It chugged
away for a while but worked perfectly.

Many thanks to everyone who contributes their precious
time and skills to making this easy.
