Failure to upgrade outdated

Hi,

The error

Error: Failed to activate libgcc10: Image error: /opt/local/lib/libgcc/libatomic.1.dylib is being used by the active libgcc port.  Please deactivate this port first, or use 'port -f activate 

tells me its really been a very very long time since the ports where last updated here. Not updating your ports regularly is really not recommended as it can lead to problems like this when you do.

try

sudo port -f deactivate libgcc

ignore the warning, then try updating again.
