locate doing wildcards or not, * matches somthing and . also, anyway:
$ locate heic.la <http://heic.la/>
$
There is no
$ ls /opt/local/lib/ImageMagick-6.9.11
ls: /opt/local/lib/ImageMagick-6.9.11: No such file or directory
$
