Thanks Josh, that was the right hint! I did the following:

	• touch /tmp/.com.apple.dt.CommandLineTools.installondemand.in-progress
	• softwareupdate -l
	• ​Run Software Update
	• rm /tmp/.com.apple.dt.CommandLineTools.installondemand.in-progress

and everything went fine from there on!
