I downloaded the files manually and they verified ok:

$ openssl dgst -ripemd160 -verify /opt/local/share/macports/macports-pubkey.pem -signature aom-3.1.0_0.darwin_11.x86_64.tbz2.rmd160 aom-3.1.0_0.darwin_11.x86_64.tbz2
Verified OK

Clean and try again?
