Error building "gq"

Sierra 10.12.6, Xcode 9.2 (fetched recently).

GQ is a GUI LDAP browser (my favourite).

After which everything bails out.

I vaguely seeing this before...  Is GQ et al now no longer maintained?  If 
so then that would be a great pity.
