MacPorts bind9 dig not working correctly

Just to close this out although it turned out not to be a MacPorts issue, I posted this to the BIND list and was asked to file a bug report. In the end, they said "So we're inclined to say that mDNS support is out of scope, and the fact that it used to work was by accident not by design."
