Ticket #46229 - Uninstalling all active ports - are you sure?

I found this ticket https://trac.macports.org/ticket/46229 from a few years back talking about the same mistake I had made not long ago.  😳

Is it possible for this ticket to be looked at and its suggestion implemented?
